Feeling Tired or stressed out?  Having trouble concentrating in class?

Doing well in your courses also means taking good care of your body.

Here are a few steps toward a healthier you!

  • Visit the Adrian Tinsley Center!  Right here on campus we have a state-of-the-athletic facility where you get a great workout.
  • A daily workout will improve your overall health
  • Exercise is the best stress reliever you can find!

Did you eat your Wheaties this morning?  Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so get up early and make time for it.  If you oversleep, grab a piece of fruit--just make sure you eat something.

Do you have difficulty concentrating in class or staying on task with your homework?  Are you irritable, tired, or feeling drained?  Maybe you should take a look at your nutrition!  The foods you reach for when hungry can make a big difference in your energy level throughout the day.  If you are not sure what or how much to eat, visit the website for helpful nutrition guidelines:  Http://www.mypyramid.gov

Perhaps you are truly ill.  If so, visit the BSC Health Center for more tips to good health.  Center hours can be found here http://www.bridgew.edu/healthservices

Are you going through a tough time at home, with friends or roommates? Maybe you need someone to talk to.  Check out The Counseling Center and make and appointment.  Http://www.bridgew.edu/CounselingCenter
