Campus MovieFest at Bridgewater State University | Rondileau Campus Center

Campus MovieFest at Bridgewater State University

Campus MovieFest (CMF) is the world's largest student film and music festival. CMF is the only event of its kind to provide Apple laptops, Panasonic HD camcorders, and training all for free to students around the globe. Students at participating colleges and universities have one week to create their own five-minute film, with each school hosting red carpet finales to showcase its best. The best of the best move on to compete against hundreds of other top shorts at Campus MovieFest in Hollywood.

Bridgewater State has had CMF on campus since 2008 and has won numerous national awards and recognitions including:

  • Northeast Regional Best Picture & National Best Comedy: "Scrabble: The Motion Picture", 2009. Directed by Alex Perry, '10
  • Northeast Regional Best Drama & National Top 16 Film, "That Good Night", 2010. Directed by Jim Sass, '11.
  • National Best Comedy & Virgin America In-Flight Film Selection: "Grow Grass Grow", 2010. Directed by Alex Perry, '10.
