Who's Who Among Students in
American Universities and Colleges
Nomination Process
Faculty and staff members are
encouraged to nominate students who they believe are worthy of consideration for
recognition by Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges
program. For some students it is the support from a faculty member or
administrator that gives them the confidence and motivation to apply for this
worthy recognition.
Nominations for this recognition program are accepted during the fall
semester.
To facilitate the nomination process, a
list of seniors by major who
meet the required academic grade point average of 3.0 with a
minimum of 24 BSU credits hours is provided to faculty and staff for review.
Nominations can be made by
completing the nomination form by
Friday, November 25, 2011.
Students nominated will be contacted by the selection committee that they were
nominated and encouraged to apply.
About Nomination
-
Students do not
require a nomination from a faculty or staff member to be eligible to apply.
-
Students are
encouraged to talk with faculty and staff mentors about applying for this
honor.
-
Nominations
are solicited from both academic and administrative departments.
- Students
interested in submitting an application
are also encouraged to self nominate.
- A nomination
by a faculty or staff member will serve as an endorsement for your
application as you may attach a hard copy of that nomination in lieu of a
signature.
