FY2010 Grant Recipients
Teacher-Scholar Grants are intended to encourage teaching-related projects that promote meaningful teaching innovation and renewal. Successful projects seek transformation of pedagogy (teaching strategies/methods, use of new technology, evaluation of learning, etc.). Change in and extension of subject matter knowledge as reflected in curriculum and course development may be part of a proposed project, but not its primary focus. Grant requests should demonstrate substantive modification in pedagogy. In developing proposals, faculty and librarians are encouraged to link their goals and outcomes to those of existing development areas and initiatives, such as (but not limited to) International Engagement, Contemplative Pedagogy, Quantitative Reasoning, Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC), Interdisciplinary Engagement, Undergraduate Research, Social Justice, Diversity and Inclusion, etc. Awards are intended for use in summer 2012.
