The submission deadline is 16 December 2011 (PLEASE NOTE: Students who submit work after this deadline will be considered for publication in the 2012-2013 edition of The UR).

Students who have written honors theses or presented at the 2011 NCUR are encouraged to submit a part of their theses or their presentation. For more information on submitting either an honors thesis or an NCUR talk, please contact the Director of Undergraduate Research at jenny.shanahan@bridgew.edu.

What is The Undergraduate Review?

Administered by the Adrian Tinsley Program for Undergraduate Research, this journal, which publishes annually, showcases student research and creative work done as part of a class or under the mentorship of Bridgewater faculty. The goal is to disseminate this outstanding scholarship to a local, regional, and national audience.

What Projects are Eligible for Publication?

Any research project, paper, or creative text is eligible for consideration. Your project should be looked over and signed off on by the faculty member with whom you worked on the project. Your text will be read by faculty readers in the area of your research. Students will be notified as to whether or not their text will appear in the journal. Completion of a project does not guarantee acceptance for publication.

Examples of Possible Submissions

Honors theses, substantial class projects, independent research, and creative work from all disciplines. All submissions will be critically reviewed. For more examples of previously published work, stop by The OUR (Rm. 200 Maxwell Library) to pick up a copy of Volumes I- VII of The Undergraduate Review.
