Dr. David OstrothHello, I'm David Ostroth, Vice President for Student Affairs.

I want to welcome back our returning students and to also welcome our new students who are beginning an exciting new phase of their education. I sincerely hope your Bridgewater experience is both exciting and productive!

The on-line Student Handbook is prepared as a guide to help you better understand the many opportunities and services that are available to assist you both inside and outside the classroom. We hope this guide will help you connect with the people and programs that are here to support your academic and personal success.

The Student Handbook also includes many of the policies and procedures that govern student life. As a BSU student and member of this community, it is important that you have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the policies and procedures that are in place. Please familiarize yourself with the rules, regulations and judicial processes. As a student and member of the BSU community you play a vital role in creating a positive and safe place in which to live and learn.

The Student Affairs Division is here to assist you meet your personal goals. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance in the year ahead.
