The most important thing that needs to be done at this time to reserve a space on campus for next year is to pay the $300 Room Deposit.
In order for a current resident student to live on campus next year, THE $300 ROOM DEPOSIT must be paid by the March 2, 2012 deadline. If a student does not make the payment by the deadline, the student will not have housing for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Deposits will be accepted between Tuesday, January 3, 2012 and Friday, March 2, 2012. Very important: please note that students will not receive a bill for this deposit. All further information regarding the room selection process for 2012-2013 will be sent to resident students via e-mail.
Checks, made out to Bridgewater State University in the amount of $300, may be dropped off at the Office of Residence Life and Housing in DiNardo Hall. The words "Room Deposit" and the student's Banner ID number should be written on the check. If you wish to mail the deposit, please send it to: 100 DiNardo Hall, Bridgewater State University, Bridgewater, MA 02325. The $300 deposit can also be paid in cash or by credit card at the Student Accounts Office in Boyden Hall.
This deposit is a prepayment and will be credited to the studen's spring 2013 bill if the student remains in on-campus housing for the full academic year. The deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited if the student withdraws from housing.
Please note: There is a housing deposit credit on each resident student's Spring 2012 bill. That is the room deposit paid for this year, 2011-2012. It is NOT payment for the 2012-2013 academic year.
